De eerste computergestuurde audioapparaten van Dual uit 1978, beide zijn defect aangeschaft.

De tuner heeft een zeer goede ontvangst, en instelbare mute en mono/stereo omschakeling gevoeligheid. De versterker heeft in theorie een hoog ruisniveau wegens hoe hij digitaal wordt bestuurd, in de praktijk is dit niet merkbaar en dus niet hinderlijk.

Er bestaat een afstandbediening, die schaars is en hooguit voor de hoofdprijs te koop. Hij kan niet worden worden geëmuleerd en de vervanger is uit productie.

Helaas blijkt de versterker ook na het opknappen onbetrouwbaar, kennelijk maken de dinaansluitingen op de achterkant niet altijd goed contact, alsook is hij weer open geweest om connectors te reseaten. Als hij een jaartje of twee wordt weggezet zijn er gegarandeerd opstartproblemen...

Both devices were obtained having multiple failures. An interesting one was a curious unstable frequency readout above 99 MHz of the tuner, while it performed well.

The tuner appears to have a very good reception. It has the mute and stereo limits adjustable.

Although the amplifier has only moderate signal to noise figures specified, it performs very well

According internet discussions, the remote control is scarce and cannot be emulated by the modern smart remotes. One will have to pay the price if it is offered....

During 2017, the amp was refurbished. However, later the connections on the back seem to act up again, the amplifier stays rather unreliable.
